NEII's Coronavirus (COVID-19) Resources for the Building Transportation Industry

In last week's survey, we received several responses about predicted changes to maintenance practices amid the coronavirus pandemic. This week, as even more cities and states begin reopening, we'd love your anonymous opinions on how your workload has been affected by the pandemic.

As always, you can visit our
Coronavirus Resource page for all of NEII's updates. We have updated the safety tips for the riding public and facility managers to reflect social distancing recommendations as well.

Download our complete spreadsheet for added detail on the State/Local and Provincial Executive Orders and Policy Directives.

Highlights from the jurisdictions this week:
  • NYC and Michigan’s stay at home orders will be lifted on June 8
  • Both Pennsylvania and Virginia's stay at home orders expired on June 4

Please keep in mind that this information is meant to be used as a resource and is not intended as legal guidance. We will continue to send an updated chart to all NEII members every Friday throughout this crisis.

Do you have information on a jurisdiction that we don’t have? Help us to keep everyone informed - send a link to info@neii.org.

Throughout these uncertain times, please don’t hesitate to contact your NEII staff with any questions on how the COVID-19 is impacting the elevator industry – or any other issue – by emailing us at info@neii.org.
