NEII's Coronavirus (COVID-19) Resources for the Building Transportation Industry

This week, we are asking you to take an anonymous 2-minute survey related to the impact of the coronavirus as states and cities look to reopen. We'd appreciate your thoughts!

As always, you can visit our
Coronavirus Resource page for all of NEII's updates.

Download our complete spreadsheet for added detail on the State/Local and Provincial Executive Orders and Policy Directives.

Highlights from the jurisdictions this week:
Numerous jurisdictions have issued re-opening plans and associated guidance. Key jurisdictions to review since last week’s update include California, Illinois, Ohio and Washington State as well as Boston, Denver, Chicago and several locals in California.

In addition, Maryland has resumed performing final inspections (new construction) and alteration inspections on all elevators, escalators and lifts, and Michigan issued guidance specific to construction.

Please keep in mind that this information is meant to be used as a resource and is not intended as legal guidance. We will continue to send an updated chart to all NEII members every Friday throughout this crisis.

Do you have information on a jurisdiction that we don’t have? Help us to keep everyone informed - send a link to info@neii.org.

Throughout these uncertain times, please don’t hesitate to contact your NEII staff with any questions on how the COVID-19 is impacting the elevator industry – or any other issue – by emailing us at info@neii.org.
